I felt the need to do this review when I noticed Amazon doesn’t tell you this is SUGAR FREE candy. I actually bought a bag of this candy while leaving Japan at the airport in Nagoya. I saw them and thought, ‘omg those look delicious green tea/green tea latter candy, yes please!’ I was so happy to see maccha (green tea) that I wasn’t much paying attention. So of course, when I put the first piece in my mouth, I immediately thought, ‘okay, this tastes really gross, what in the world…?’ I then noticed that not only was it green tea candy, it said ‘non-shugaa’ (non-sugar) at the top. I took off a star because I personally found them very gross buuuut I’d imagine if you’re used to/enjoy sugar free candies, they’d probably be quite good. I was just disheartened that I would not be enjoying happy green tea candy on my ridiculously long return flight.

So yes, important point: THIS CANDY IS SUGAR FREE!

this is a green tea hard candy, they are delicious, not too sweet so you can taste the very pleasant herbal flavor of the green tea (matcha flavor)
Because it comes from Japan, so no high fructose syrup, only natural ingredients.
I already ate 2 writing this review LOL
I recommend this to any body that likes to drink green tea
