Good if you like berries
I must say, of the 9 flavoured matchas that I have tried from Red Leaf Tea, this is not my favourite, but they can’t all be, right? This is the first ‘fruity’ one I’ve liked. The flavouring is not any specific berry, just generic mixed berry flavour, probably raspberry/strawberry/blueberry and maybe blackberry in there. Hard to say. I could wish for some straight blackberry matcha actually, that would probably be really good. I live in Western Washington, a place where blackberry bushes are so prevalent, they’re usually treated like a weed. We like our blackberry here. Anyway, back on track, this berry matcha is good. It is a great addition to smoothies and probably would be to anything you want to ‘berry’ up like icecream or yogurt or whatever. Good mixer, good latte too (that’s my preferred method of consuming). Good product. Done it again, Red Leaf Tea.
